Rigby Capital Europe produced a bespoke 16-day advent calendar, uniquely designed to deliver a luxury unboxing experience and capture the festive spirit. The advent calendar, with dimensions approximately W323mm x H298mm x D120mm, was thoughtfully crafted to feature a variety of premium contents, each selected to enhance holiday celebrations and provide recipients with a sense of indulgence.

The project required detailed planning to accommodate a diverse range of items, from miniature spirits and fine wines to branded accessories and gourmet confectionery. Each component was carefully integrated into the design, ensuring a seamless blend of functionality and aesthetics. This attention to detail underscored Rigby Capital Europe’s commitment to delivering a high-quality product that aligned with their brand’s values and elevated the holiday gifting experience.

Product and Packaging Design

The advent calendar included 16 internal compartments, with dimensions carefully crafted for each product. The largest items, such as a full bottle of Hawkbridge Gin (H265mm x 88mm) and half-bottles of Taittinger Champagne or Prosecco (H250mm x D70mm), were strategically placed in Days 9 and 24 to highlight their premium value.

Smaller compartments housed 187ml wine bottles (H210mm x D55mm) for Days 10, 23, and 19, while Days 16, 20, 18, and others held items such as branded chocolate balls or compact gifts in compartments W50mm x H55mm x D120mm. The packaging utilised rigid board inner boxes with thumb cuts for easy access, while Wibalin-textured branding and foiled numbers on each box created an elegant visual appeal.

The advent calendar’s contents were meticulously curated to reflect both indulgence and practicality. Alongside the gin and champagne, the calendar included premium spirits such as Absolut Vodka, Baileys Irish Cream, and Jack Daniel’s, each in 5cl sizes, as well as a trio of wines (Malbec, Sauvignon Blanc, and Rosé).

Luxury chocolate balls from Lindt and branded eco hex tubes of Jelly Bean Factory candies added a festive touch. Accessories like a laser-engraved wine waiter’s corkscrew and a Flix Pro 2.0 golf pitch repair tool showcased Rigby Capital’s attention to personalisation. For VIP clients, purple-branded Taittinger Nocturne Sec NV bottles offered an exclusive touch, differentiating them from the standard grey design.

We handled the entire advent calendar production process, managing every detail from sourcing branded merchandise to designing and producing high-quality packaging. Each compartment was carefully tailored to fit its specific item, ensuring a secure and polished presentation that reflected the premium nature of the product.
